AIB is hiring! We are seeking three Education Policy Analysts and one Financial Data Analyst to join our team. Education Policy Analysts will serve as subject matter experts in one or more of the following policy areas:?Early Childhood Education, College and Career Readiness, Career and Technical Education, and Governance and Accountability. Qualified candidates should have six years or more experience in education and/or public policy, public administration, or related fields and/or experience in at least one of the policy areas listed above. The Financial Data Analyst will evaluate Blueprint funding and expenditures, including local school systems. Qualified candidates should have six years or more experience in finance, budgeting, accounting, business/public administration or related fields with advanced proficiency in Excel. Salary range for both the Education Policy Analyst roles & Financial Data Analyst role is $84,229 - $123,179/year plus benefits, with potential growth to $136,003/year. Earlier this month, the AIB joined the Career & Technical Education Expert Review Team (ERT) on a visit to two schools in CHARLES COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS! At Henry E. Lackey High School, the ERT was able to see the CTE Express food truck in action. The food truck is staffed by CCPS students who are in food service based CTE programs and travels to different schools in the county. For more information on the food truck, check out this article: https://lnkd.in/gReDuNy2 At North Point High School, tiny houses that the Construction Design and Management CTE students are building were on display. These houses are part of a capstone project for students that allows them to execute all aspects of the building process, from drafting and design to building the tiny homes themselves. Students can also earn industry certification in AutoCAD and Revit through this course as well. Thank you to the CTE teachers, Career Counselors, administrators, and students in Charles County for a great visit and allowing the AIB and CTE ERT to see Pillar 3 in action. #BlueprintInAction #Blueprint4MD
