The Commission seeks an attorney to work full time in our Staff Counsel Division. The Commission regulates public utilities (gas, electric, landline phone, private water/sewer),?certain passenger transportation companies doing business in Maryland, and also licenses electricity and gas retail suppliers. Staff Attorneys represent the PSC’s Technical Staff in proceedings before the Commission and provide legal advice and opinions to Staff regarding both public utilities law and general legal principles. Our 100th EV Charger is now active in Ocean City, Maryland! This milestone is part of our commitment following the Maryland Public Service Commission's 2019 order to expand the state's electric vehicle (EV) charging network. We’ve installed 100 public EV chargers at 45 locations in our Maryland service area, including 87 Level 2 smart chargers and 13 DC Fast Chargers. These chargers are available for all EV drivers, regardless of whether they are Delmarva Power customers.
