Learn more about Robin Nhare: I am the manager of the Facilities Administration for the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC).?In facilities we provide a broad range of services that ?include building maintenance from minor to major building issues, internal design for construction and renovations, project management and installations for the Annapolis Complex, Appellate Courts, and Judicial Units as well as furniture and related products for these buildings.?Our department also maintains all fleet for the Annapolis Complex, provides the mail courier service for the Annapolis Complex, along with providing assistance and consultation to Circuit Courts for renovations, design, and furniture. What some may not know is my position includes the oversight, management, reporting and inventory of fixed assets (with the exception of District Court) for the entire State of Maryland Judiciary.?Another thing most may not know is how much behind the scenes work facilities does in maintaining buildings and workspaces, providing amenities, and assisting security with building security and staff safety, and stepping in to help even in areas outside of our department. What I enjoy about working with the Judiciary is it provides the opportunity to work with a such diverse group of people in so many different positions.?Through its people and education offerings, it allows the opportunity to learn and gain knowledge about so many other aspects of the Judiciary.

In this phone scam, the caller claims to work for the county sheriff's office, or states they are a sergeant or court staff, and tells the person they did not report for jury duty and there is a bench warrant for their arrest. The scammer's phone number may appear legitimate because the caller has manipulated the number to appear to be from the sheriff's or court's telephone line. This phone call is a scam, hang up! Do not provide any information. Maryland Courts, Sheriff’s Offices, and Jury Offices DO NOT call citizens to get payment over the phone for a fine for missing jury duty and they do not take payments through a machine for missing jury duty. https://lnkd.in/eX3y53E3
