Welcome to Assistant Professor Kelly E. Haynie, DHA, MPA, FACHE, our newest Georgetown University faculty member! Kelly is the Vice President of Operations at MedStar Health, and he leads strategic initiatives to enhance patient experience, optimize resource utilization, and foster equity, inclusion, and diversity across the organization. Dr. Haynie has extensive experience in healthcare leadership, operational management, and quality improvement and has a proven track record of implementing innovative solutions to complex challenges. Additionally, Kelly is a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he was a Staff Sergeant who worked as a medic and medic instructor. Dr. Haynie holds a Doctorate in Health Administration (DHA), with research focused on exploring innovative approaches to understanding and improving patient experience. He also earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in healthcare administration and policy. A Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Dr. Haynie is dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence in healthcare.
