The Maryland Department of Agriculture in collaboration with the Maryland Department of General Services Office of State Procurement and the Maryland State Department of Education is hosting an event for Maryland farmers and seafood processors to learn about participating in the State procurement process and ask questions about how they can provide their products to State Agencies and local schools.? The December 5 meeting will also provide an opportunity for State agencies to ask questions about how to obtain local foods from the farmers and seafood processors and give them an opportunity to share information about their current practices to bring their products to the market.
