Credit unions came together for a fun-filled evening of friendly competition, with teams battling it out for top honors in categories like Best Score, Best Team Name, Best Costume, and more! The lucky winners walked away with exclusive, one-of-a-kind bowling pin trophies - each with a special holiday theme! Thanks to Maryland Department of Labor's Commissioner of Financial Regulation, Antonio "Tony" Salazar, and his team, for meeting with state credit unions this week. Congratulations to the 38 credit union leaders who successfully completed our inaugural "AI for Executive and Senior Leaders" program, offered in partnership with The Johns Hopkins University, and our collaboration with Johns Hopkins Federal Credit Union & APL Federal Credit Union. Participants gained valuable insights into implementing AI strategies through lectures and interactive activities. Look for the next class in early 2025! Thrilled to launch a pilot course on AI today in partnership with The Johns Hopkins University. It's designed to help credit union leaders understand the strategic implications of AI to effectively lead their organizations. The final Business Development Roundtable meeting of the year took place this week. The topic of discussion was Emotional Intelligence and how credit unions can use empathy and EQ to better serve their members.
