With the addition of specialized surgery and imaging, along with traditional medical and radiation oncology services, we’re expanding breast cancer care to create a personalized experience for patients in our community. We are excited to share that Mary Bird Perkins is now offering breast imaging services on the campus of AVALA Hospital, 67252 Industry Ln. Covington, LA. With this, Dr. Daniel Rupley, a breast radiology specialist, has joined our team and will continue to offer breast imaging services in the same location as before, which will now be known as Mary Bird Perkins Breast Imaging. The excellent care that we hope you have become accustomed to receiving with AVALA will remain exactly the same with the staff and location for breast imaging services unchanged. Dr. Rupley is excited to join Mary Bird Perkins with his personal philosophy for ensuring women on the Northshore and beyond receive the highest level of preventative and diagnostic care, ensuring the best health and well-being for all patients. The team provides a full spectrum of services, from advanced mammography and treatment options, if needed.
