As part of a community leadership program, Magnesia Specialties Chemist Holly Eckard helped upgrade a local dog park in Manistee, Michigan. During the year-long process, she and others in the community raised more than $30,000 for the project — including support from Martin Marietta — and oversaw construction. Now complete, the park has gotten two paws up from visitors, including Holly's corgi, Meechum.

Broken Bow Sand & Gravel hosted a dinner for first responders and shared updated safety plans. ?? Our DuBois Quarry team helped construct a new playground in Pawnee City, Nebraska. ?? Iowa teammates volunteered to hand out water at a statewide bike ride.

We made posters to support race participants, held a pasta lunch for our runners and checked in with the race beneficiary, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
