Not only can geothermal systems harness the Earth's stable underground temperatures - eliminating the need for fossil fuels, but they can also offer a 30% tax credit to purchasing homeowners.

Comfort-Aire ductless... I had a 9K BTU 110v ductless system installed in my guest bedroom. But with a twist: First of all, my situation is classic: the guest room is the farthest from the air handler. The room has a southern exposure, so it gets a lot of sun most of the day. There are 2 wonderful large windows contributing a lot of heat-load. AND the closet, which is on an outside wall, is seemingly totally without insulation, so it's like 90* in there. The Twist?? We installed a MarketAir DSS disconnect switch so we can run this off a small portable generator should we lose power...like after a hurricane. So, the guest room can be a safe room! We are the Comfort-Aire Representative for the Florida peninsula so it's only proper to use their equipment! Good stuff! Super cooling; super energy efficient and a place to sleep should we lose power. :-) #ComfortAire #airconditioning #ductless #minisplit #marketair

Johnstone Supply hosted a technical training to a group of dedicated commercial technicians from B&D Industries, Inc. on Thursday, June 6th in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Those who attended probably wondered if listening to Glen Bowen for two (2) full hours was worth getting out of the blistering heat - but the training room certainly was interesting!
