To celebrate All American Pet Photo Day on July 11th we had a Cutest Pet Contest to show off our team member's furry & feathered friends. So many cute choices and the guests had a great time voting on our winner with close to 250 votes in total. I'm sure this will be an annual tradition ?? And the winner of the Marriott Kansas City Overland Park Cutest Pet went to Brody, our Director of Events handsome pup ??

Kicking off the summer with the best Kansas City food...BBQ! We gave our Culinary team time off and enjoyed some AMAZING Jack Stack BBQ for our team members! Our team had also been donating for a chance to Pie their Manager and we raised $596 to donate to the Give Kids The World charity (www.gktw.org). All of our managers were such good sports and took a "pie" by their highest donor!
