Proud to support the delivery of this fantastic Severn Trent project, showcasing collaboration and expert drilling! #MarriottDrillingGroup #WaterIndustry #Borehole #Teamwork #SevernTrent
What a fantastic site-walk today out at our Severn Trent clean borehole site in Cresswell, where the first phase of this £12.5m DWI Capital scheme is well underway with the installation of a brand-new 330m deep borehole, alongside rehabilitation of 2 other boreholes and existing site assets. Community Communications Officer for Staffs Charlene Richards has been hard at work in the local area providing community support and influencing key customers & Stakeholders to support the delivery team with their stringent milestones. Unyime John led the group site-walk today, alongside the Marriott team, and shared that this is “a fantastic example of good planning and collaborative working”. Some extreme challenges have been faced including a large number of badgers inhabiting the site! All now relocated safely in their temporary sett whilst the main sett is closed off, working closely with environmental experts and Natural England. The strong collaboration between the teams here was evident the second I arrived, with lots of smiling faces. With approximately £40m of borehole works earmarked for AMP8; this scheme has set a really great example of how to deliver to scope, schedule and quality, ensuring the customers in our community feel prioritised too!
