Celebrating National Senior Wisdom Day: Pearls of Wisdom from Our Cherished Residents Today for our Feature Friday we would like to flashback to when our Marquis' New England skilled nursing centers celebrated National #SeniorWisdom Day by honoring the incredible life lessons from their beloved residents across the region. From Barbara Ruth Machera, who taught her family the importance of compassion and maintaining a positive attitude, to Rosetta from Webster Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center who reminds us to "always follow your heart," our seniors continue to inspire us daily. Catherine, at 103, shares her secret to longevity: "Don't worry about anything and just have fun!" While Gloria at Elmhurst Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center lives by the golden rule: "Treat others the way you want to be treated." June Savino, a 92-year-young matriarch at Mont Marie Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center lights up our center with her radiant smile, having helped raise five grandchildren, including triplets! These stories of resilience, joy, and wisdom remind us of the invaluable contributions our seniors make to our communities. Judy's resilience and appreciation for her community are a testament to the power of compassion.
