All good things must come to an end. In light of their recent acquisition, 4moms and Marque will conclude our 15 YEAR partnership at the end of this month. It has been our pleasure to work side-by-side with a company that started off with just a mamaRoo (in a terrible color)?and grew into a brand with numerous “must have” parenting products. From media placements in nearly every media outlet, being a staple in celebrity and influencers’ homes, deskside trips to NYC, our "NICU Nurse of the Year" program, launch events, ABC Expos and so much more, it’s been a pleasure working with the 4moms team and introducing innovative products to parents and caregivers around the world. Last week, we wrapped up the month long nomination period for 4moms’ NICU Awareness Month program. Along with partner Project Sweet Peas, a national non-profit that supports NICUs and NICU families, NICU Nurse of the Year recognizes the amazing contributions of hard-working NICU nurses and other NICU-related caregivers nationwide. A special thanks to an amazing group of moms and dads who helped garner nominations by utilizing the power of their social media (35+ million impressions and counting). Those amazing folks include Sarah Michele Gellar, Tiffani Thiessen, Maria Menounos, Jessica Szohr, Alyson Hannigan, Amanda Kloots, Amanda Schull, Ashley Jones, Dan Amboyer, Francesca Farago, Jenna Ushkowitz, Kellan Lutz, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Lacey Chabert, Marla Sokoloff, Tara Lipinski, Danielle Panabaker,Deanna Pappas, Ever Carradine, Fiona Gubelmann, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Meghan King, Vanessa Lachey, Tim Chatarangsu, and Katherine Schwarzenegger, among others. Earlier this week, our amazing client 4moms?kicked off NICU Awareness Month by partnering with Project Sweet Peas, a national non-profit that supports NICUs and NICU families, to recognize the amazing contributions of hard-working NICU nurses and other NICU-related caregivers nationwide. Throughout the entire month of September, those whose lives have been touched by a NICU nurse or other staff member can nominate them to become the second ever 4moms NICU Nurse of the Year at www.4moms.com/NICUnurse?with a story about what makes them so special. 4moms and Project Sweet Peas will evaluate nominations based on several factors, including submission stories (the quality and passion of the nominators), accomplishments of the nurse/caregiver, the MamaRoo need at their hospital, and the number of times an individual is nominated. The top nominated nurse/caregiver will receive $4,000, a swag bag, and ten brand new MamaRoo Multi-Motion Baby Swings for their hospital. The next ten runners-up will take home a swag bag, along with five MamaRoo Swings for each of their hospitals. This year marks the second time 4moms has scoured the country in search of the very best that NICU staffs have to offer. In 2022 Ronda McCaskey from Cleveland, Ohio’s University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital was named 4moms’ first annual NICU Nurse of the Year. Today, the MamaRoo is in over 650 hospitals across all 50 states. Doctors and nurses have found the natural bouncing and swaying motion to be a valuable tool for helping to safely contain and comfort these fragile patients when their families can't be there.
