The Senior Source and their incomparable CEO, Stacey Paddock Malcolmson and her team continue to do incredible work making older better in our community! I was honored to attend the organization’s annual Spirit of Generations luncheon last week with incoming Senior Source Board Chair, Sejal Desai, and other community leaders who gathered to honor Elaine Agather, Global Vice Chair of J.P. Morgan Private Bank for her outstanding legacy of leadership, resiliency and generosity. The list of “Elaine’s 8” that her closest colleagues and family members shared were insightful words to live by. Sharing them here so we all feel the ripple effect of Elaine Agather’s mindset and wise counsel. 1. Saddle your own horse…then ride with a good team 2. It was great to gather yesterday at the new biotech hub (which many of us recall was the former HQ of EDS back in the day) for the Plano Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting, featuring a panel discussion with execs from NexPoint, ARTA Travel and Doosan Robotics America talking about innovation and growth in the Plano business community and beyond. Incoming Chair, Kristen Lollar, CMO of Whitley Penn addressed the group and shared her priorities as she looks ahead to a successful 2025 including a new Leadership Plano class cohort, membership growth and public policy focus areas that will continue to strengthen the economic landscape and pro-business environment in Plano.
