UGC isn’t a trend—it’s a movement that has shaped industries, challenged narratives, and given power to voices that demand to be heard. And from the very beginning, women have been at the forefront of this evolution, pioneering new ways to tell stories, share knowledge, and build communities. ?? Ida B. Wells – Investigative journalism wouldn’t be what it is today without Wells, who used her own publishing platforms in the 19th century to uncover injustice and hold the powerful accountable. She set the standard for independent, truth-driven reporting. ?? Nellie Bly – Long before social media made firsthand accounts the norm, Bly redefined journalism by immersing herself in stories—going undercover in an asylum, circling the globe in record time, and proving that real experiences make the most impactful narratives. ?? Susan Kare – The digital world is built on design, and Kare’s work in the early days of personal computing made digital communication more intuitive and accessible, paving the way for the visual content we create and consume today. ?? Radia Perlman – A groundbreaking computer scientist, Perlman developed the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), a critical innovation that made modern networking more reliable. Her work helped shape the digital infrastructure that allows for seamless content sharing and online communication. These women redefined how information is shared, laying the foundation for today’s creators, strategists, and storytellers. At MarketScale, the women on our team are innovators, trailblazers, and leaders. They shape the future of UGC and B2B media through creativity, expertise, and bold ideas. Their drive pushes boundaries, sets new standards, and inspires those around them. Here’s to the women who create, lead, and inspire. https://lnkd.in/eMqEHQfx #InternationalWomensDay #UGC #WomenInMedia #PioneersOfContent

Looking back on the last six months of building our Horizons Studio equipped with a direct-view virtual production-ready LED wall! Learning Unreal Engine, perfecting lighting, figuring out what and how to shoot, and tackling countless technical challenges has been incredibly rewarding. Seeing it all come to fruition is just the beginning. Excited to see the new ways our customers will use this studio at MarketScale!

At ViVE 2025, David Kemp met up with with Megan Broom from IMO Health to discuss how healthcare organizations can take a more proactive approach to revenue cycle challenges. Instead of reacting to denials and rework, IMO is using clinical terminology to flag potential issues early—helping providers streamline workflows and improve outcomes. Conversations like these are exactly why we go to ViVE—connecting with industry leaders, sharing insights, and exploring the future of healthcare innovation. #ViVE2025 #HealthcareInnovation #RevenueCycle #MarketScale

At last year's SXSW conference, MG2 Principal and Founder of MG2 Advisory Melissa Gonzalez and Senior Strategist Nicole Pokorny Forster, M.S. hosted "Create Immersive Experiences Using Data-Driven Insights," a workshop demonstrating how brands can reimagine the in-store shopping experience. Participants left the workshop with insights on engaging consumers through multiple touchpoints. "What do you stand for? Why do you deserve my money? It was great to see so many of those themes and topics bubble up to the top of conversations," Gonzalez said in a 2024 MarketScale article about the workshop, emphasizing the need for brands to craft compelling, personalized narratives that capture the consumer's imagination and foster connections. https://lnkd.in/gd7Qty6D Learn more about creating retail strategy with MG2 Advisory here: https://mg2.com/advisory/

End of quarter usually means one thing for marketers. Pressure. ?? Generating and converting leads ?? Building brand awareness ?? Creating content that stands out in a crowded market It’s a lot. And the instinct is to create more, faster. But the smartest brands aren’t doing it all themselves. They are tapping into their crowd. Your best marketers aren't in your marketing department. Your customers, partners, and experts are your most credible voices. The key is unlocking their insights and turning them into content that drives real results. ?? Need more leads? Turn customer success stories into social proof that sells. ?? Need stronger brand awareness? Capture expert insights that position you as an industry leader. ?? Need content that stands out? Activate your community to share what they know in a way that is real and relatable. User generated, crowdsourced content is not just authentic. It moves the needle. And the best part? You can have this up and running in time to close out the quarter strong. If you are feeling the Q1 crunch, MarketScale makes it easy to turn your community into your best content engine. #UGC #MarketingStrategy #LeadGeneration #BrandAwareness #ContentMarketing

The best way to stay ahead in any industry? Get out there, meet people, and immerse yourself in the conversations shaping the future. That’s exactly what Hunter Lopatin and Raul Reyeszumeta did on their road trip to Austin for Lenny's Newsletter Tech Meetup—making a crucial pit stop at Buc-ee’s, of course. Along the way, they connected with MarketScale Guide Tad Druart, met innovative professionals, and walked away with fresh insights on community and growth. A few key takeaways: ? Austin’s energy is contagious—everyone is building, launching, or growing something, whether it’s a product, podcast, newsletter, or career. Carmen Maria Viloria ? Meeting the right people leads to real opportunities—we connected with a potential new MarketScale Guide and explored ways to collaborate with Chameleon. Maddie Miller Lacambra ? Staying plugged into industry conversations helps drive innovation—events like this are a great way to see where the market is headed. Networking isn’t just about showing up—it’s about engaging, listening, and finding ways to collaborate. Excited to see how these connections shape future opportunities for MarketScale and our growing community. #Networking #TechCommunity #Growth #LennysNewsletter #AustinEnergy

Ben makes a great point—buying behavior has changed, and B2B is no exception. Buyers are doing their homework online, watching videos, reading reviews, and looking for social proof before making decisions. If your brand isn’t showing up in those moments, you’re missing out. Content that educates, engages, and builds trust is key. Great insights here!

I have a confession. Last night, my wife and I spent far too long sitting on the couch researching shoes online. We read reviews, watched YouTube videos, and even checked out demos. Looking back, it is crazy to think we could have just gone to a store, tried them on and bought them in 30 minutes or less. But this is how buying decisions are made today. People research online before they purchase. And this is not just happening in B2C. It is happening in B2B too. Here is the reality: - Buyers are more informed than ever. - They read reviews, watch videos, and seek social proof before making decisions. - They expect easy access to information (like pricing) and transparent experiences. We have to embrace this. Whether it is selfie videos, product reviews, case studies, testimonials, or behind-the-scenes content, your audience is looking for answers online. As you build your community and marketing strategy for the rest of 2025, remember this: Your buyers are online. Make sure you are there to meet them. -- PS: Shoutout Brooks Running Ghost Max 2s!
