After spending many years in New York City in the entertainment and events industry, she moved to Austin, TX and joined an independent Broker-Dealer and RIA. At the Broker-Dealer/RIA she spent her first few years on the business development team, later transitioning to the business consulting team as the dedicated marketing consultant. There, she spent several years working directly with advisors helping them brand and market themselves in a highly regulated industry. Leah led many marketing workshops, conferences, and programs. She did both one-on-one and one-to-many engagements. One of her marketing programs was nominated twice for a Wealthmanagement.com Award. She also spent time on the marketing team, helping to package and deliver the products and services of the institution to their financial professionals. Leah had the opportunity to join a digital marketing agency that specifically serves the financial services and FinTech industries. While there, she got the inside scoop and the opportunity to learn from a variety of marketing specialists. Most recently, Leah was Vice President of Marketing at a FinTech company. Her focuses were on simplifying the branding and messaging, establishing thought leadership via social media, and launching a new, engaging website.
