After 25 incredible years of dedication, Susan Bosworth is retiring! ?? Susan has been an integral part of the Market Street Mission family, managing our donors and their gifts while also playing a key role in launching impactful events like our 5Ks and Project Backpack. But beyond her hard work, Susan’s heart for people has left a lasting impact. As Phil, our former Director of Development, shared: "Any time of day – men come and visit her, and she takes the time to listen to them and let them know how important they are. These men go through many, many classes – lots of instruction – but the best lesson many of them ever get is when they come over and spend some time with [her]." Susan’s kindness, wisdom, and care have touched countless lives, and her daily presence at the Mission will truly be missed. Please join us in celebrating Susan and wishing her well in this next chapter! Drop a comment below to share your well wishes! ???? #RetirementCelebration #25YearsOfService #MakingADifference #MarketStreetMission

On December 31, David Scott retired from his position as Executive Director/CEO at Market Street Mission. To honor his 35 years of service to the community, the Morris County Board of County Commissioners presented him with a Resolution of Honor at last week's meeting. They recognized his exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to transforming the lives of those in need. Commissioner Director Tayfun Selen presented David with the framed resolution of honor and said “David has dedicated his life to helping others find hope and recovery. His leadership and service has had a profound impact on Morris County. Under his guidance, the Market Street Mission expanded its reach and transformed countless lives, providing hope, support and a path forward for those who needed it most.” We're thankful for David Scott's 35 years of leadership at the Mission!

Today is the Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore’s birthday! On this day 18 years ago, we opened our doors in Asbury Park as the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission, an outreach of the Market Street Mission in Morristown. Mission leadership wanted to offer our services of meals, shelter, and addiction recovery in the Shore community, so in 2007, we opened a Mission location in Asbury Park. Although we recently changed the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission name to the Market Street Mission - Jersey Shore, we’re still the same Mission that’s been offering hope and healing to the Shore community for the past 18 years! Check out the services we offer in Asbury Park here: https://lnkd.in/eBi9SczF Join us in celebrating the Market Street Mission – Jersey Shore’s birthday! We are so grateful for how God is restoring lives in the Shore community – and throughout New Jersey!
