Reflecting on a milestone: This past August marked Market First's 13th year in business! 13 years ago I took a meeting with a manufacturer's VP of Sales and turned it into an opportunity to view employment differently. The meeting which started in a different direction concluded with the agreement that I would represent them in the market. This, combined with the dealer network I was already involved with allowed me to start Market First and grow it to where it is today. Now thirteen years later, I have officially become the longest employer of me! As many of you may know the rep business is an organic business with many manufacturers coming and going. However, we've been fortunate enough to continue relationships with manufacturers we've had since the beginning as many have been with us for the entire 13 years. As we continue to grow we look forward to this longevity with the newer manufacturers we represent. We are grateful for the relationship we've cultivated with distributors, designers, architects, and specifiers who have supported the manufacturers that we've had the pleasure to represent. It is because of those relationships and support that we've been able to continue the growth of Market First. Of course, we can't forget the ultimate customers, the end-users. Without them, the network of support we enjoy would not be possible. Their role in the FF&E industry not only has allowed for our success over the past 13 years but also allows us to be hopeful for the future success that lies ahead. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey with us, we can't wait to see what year 14 brings!
