MYC started with 3 employees who worked to establish a name for the company by pursuing projects that fit its capabilities. As the employee-owned company grew at a steady pace, so did the personnel who were added to provide additional capacity needed to take the company to the next level. Locally owned and operated, MYC today is a leading General Contracting firm located in Frederick, Colorado performing work along its Front Range. MYC employs an average of 230 staff while also performing work in New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Kansas, California, Nebraska, South Dakota, Oklahoma and Texas. MYC’s breadth of expertise in municipal projects such as town halls and fire stations, secondary and higher education facilities, office buildings, and large grocery retail complexes has harvested an annual average revenue of $130,00,000. Ninety-Three percent of revenue comes from current or referral clients whom are pleased with our extensive experience, exemplary performance and recognizes the focus on personalized customer service. Congratulations to our MYC team for their work with with Essenza Architecture and the City of Westminster on Westminster Swim and Fitness. The project team recently won the 2024 Columbine Award for Renovated Facility Design by the Colorado Parks & Recreation Association. This $6M renovation significantly impacted the facility for the guests and staff to now have a higher degree of safety, accessibility, and programming opportunities. Project included an expanded and relocated lobby, new elevator access to all floors, updated and improved workout areas, and a new dedicated meeting space to serve the community. Thank you to all our partners for another successful project!

Congratulations to the entire team for completing the brand new King Soopers in Erie, CO! This project is a major accomplishment, with the store coming in at over 100K square feet including an in-store Starbucks, Murray's Cheese Shop, sushi counter, and drive-thru pharmacy. Our MYC team also built the 18-pump fuel center on site to round out the major retail space. Check out some pictures from the recent grand opening. It takes all of us to bring a project to successful finish, and our project team enjoyed celebrating the occasion with our partners at King Soopers/City Market.

Mark Young Construction is wrapping up the net zero Boulder Fire Station #3 and Administration Building. This is a beautiful new 28,370 SF, two-story station off 30th Street in Boulder to help enhance firefighter response times. The station includes apparatus bays, bunk rooms, a community room, decontamination areas, locker rooms, storage areas, a kitchen, a roof top garden, and administration areas with offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, and mixed-use work areas.?It was a pleasure working with the City of Boulder and Davis Partnership Architects on this CM/GC project.
