We’re thrilled to announce a recent major milestone on the McKinley Street Grade Separation Project in the City of Corona! The 2.4-million-pound bridge steel tied arch network bridge was moved overnight to where it will permanently sit over the BNSF railroad tracks. It was moved approximately 500 feet in a 10-hour period using Self Propelled Modular Transports, this is the same technology NASA uses to move space shuttles throughout their facility. Our team is providing comprehensive project management services for the project which will elevate McKinley Street over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) tracks south of SR-91. #Bridges #GradeSeparation #Rail #WeAreMarkThomas

We were thrilled to recently celebrate the groundbreaking of the Firestone Boulevard Widening Project in the City of Norwalk, California – an initiative that will fundamentally enhance the community’s infrastructure! Our team provided preliminary engineering, environmental clearance, and final design of this project which serves as a vital artery that connects the community, enabling the flow of people, goods, and services.. The roadway also crosses over the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks and the corridor holds a significant number of businesses that drive the City’s economy. Enhancements include over 1 mile of widening/rehabilitation improvements to the 6-lane divided arterial facility, installation of multi-modal improvements for bicyclists & pedestrians and bridge widening of the existing UPRR overhead bridge structure. #ActiveTransportation #Structures #WeAreMarkThomas

We had a great time at today's ribbon cutting ceremony for the I-15 Congestion Relief project in the City of Temecula!? ? This project represents one of several operational improvements identified by the Move I-15 Through Temecula Valley Task Force, aimed to provide congestion relief through the added capacity of a 12-foot wide auxiliary lane and 10-foot wide shoulder on the northbound I-15, approximately 2,800 feet in length. Our team provided design, environmental clearance, and Caltrans coordination for the project located between Temecula Parkway and Rancho California Road. In addition to the mainline widening, improvements include a sub-horizontal ground anchor wall under the Santiago Road overcrossing, drainage modifications & enhancements, relocation of existing on-ramp lighting, and planting and irrigation improvements along the highway. #WeAreMarkThomas #RoadwayImprovements
