Great job by our Students in the Watercraft Operator (88K10) and Watercraft Engineer (88L10) courses! These Soldiers conducted Drownproofing and Water Survival training; skills necessary to be part of vessels crews, maintain readiness, and overcome emergencies at sea if a situation should arise. Job well done by our the Class Managers and Assistant Instructors always maintaining high standards of maritime training.

MITD conducted an award ceremony to recognize our Military and Civilian instructors who have done an outstanding job while supporting the organization’s missions. This group of professionals distinguished themselves completing various tasks to include 7th TBX Causeway Upload in support of CENTCOM Operations and the CASCOM Award for Safety. We also recognized CW3 Feltner who earned the Transportation School Warrant Officer Instructor of the Year. Mr. Johnson received his 40-year Federal Service Pin (Gold Pin), and Mr. Parker with 20-years of Federal Service (Silver Pin). Lastly, we bid fairwell to SSG Broadbent on his retirement after completing 20 years of excellent service to the Nation. We are very proud of our team, congratulations to all !!!

On this Father’s Day we wanted to highlight the legacy of four of our 881A Marine Deck Engineers and their Sons who have also chosen to serve in the Army Watercraft community. Take a moment to learn more about the Military Occupational Specialties of Army Watercraft and these amazing families.

Congratulations to our 880A2 Marine Deck Warrant Officer Advanced Course graduates of class 001-24 Had to get a seperate photo of the Distinguished Honor graduate as he was needed right away in the field and graduated a week early An excellent class of gentlemen who will undoubtedly be great assets to the Army watercraft community
