While this statistic is staggering, there is hope—over 4 million breast cancer survivors are living in the U.S. today. We’re thrilled to announce that we are adding a new grant to our assistance programs, the ?????????????????????????? ??????????, a game-changing initiative designed to give cancer patients hope and options for their future family. ??? Cancer treatments like chemo and radiation can impact fertility, but thanks to this new grant, patients can access financial support for fertility preservation services such as egg freezing, sperm banking, and more. “Our goal is to empower patients to protect their reproductive health, providing hope in the face of a diagnosis,” says Lauren Federico, Executive Director. November is Lung Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, and Gastric Cancer Awareness Month. Did you know: - Lung cancer accounts for 25% of all cancer deaths in the U.S., killing more people than colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined. - Pancreatic cancer has a 5-year survival rate of just 12% due to late diagnoses, making it one of the deadliest cancers. - Gastric (stomach) cancer ranks as the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide. These numbers show the urgent need for awareness, early detection, and support for continued research.
