At Marion Health every baby born in our Family Birthing Center is examined by a Neonatologist, which is a doctor who specializes in caring for newborn babies who are high risk or have special needs. Every baby born at Marion Health is examined daily by a Neonatologist and provided a higher level of care than a typical birthing center.
