And we’re off! The first day of Mario Lemieux Fantasy Hockey Camp was one to remember. We kicked things off with a special welcome, bringing together an incredible group of hockey fans ready to live the dream. Everyone suited up at the equipment and apparel distribution, walking away with the gear to hit the ice in true pro style. The energy is high, and the excitement is just getting started. Over $5,000,000 has been raised through the Mario Lemieux Fantasy Hockey Camp to benefit the Mario Lemieux Foundation, dedicated to raising funds for cancer research and patient care, as well as Austin’s Playrooms, an initiative which creates playrooms for children and families in medical facilities. Stay tuned—there’s plenty more action to come!
