Project Complete! ? Marinship’s team successfully upgraded the SD-431 MWWTP Dechlorination Facility for EBMUD, ensuring seamless operations while replacing three 15,000-gallon chemical storage tanks on-site. Our crews refurbished and re-piped the chemical injector room, replacing valves and injectors, and insulated all chemical piping. We also re-piped the control room for the continuous monitoring assembly and installed new fiberglass doors and frames in the modified control building. Additional civil work included installing a new sump, two new sump pumps, site security fencing, and repainting the entire facility. #chemicalpiping #EBMUD #chemicaltankreplacement #wastewatertreatment #civilwork

Marinship Development Interest LLC was contracted by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to participate in Job Order Contract 99: General Engineering (A License Construction) in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Alameda Counties. Marinship has been awarded two task orders under the JOC that are currently in active construction. JOC-99 Task Order #1: Marinship’s work includes raising a single tower, retrofitting another tower, and improving the footings on three towers. Marinship’s crews will raise Tower 976N 15 feet and replace bent steel members on tower 978N. Work will also include improvements to the tower footings of Towers 975N, 976N, and 978N, as well as damaged landscape renovation. JOC-99 Task Order #2: Marinship’s scope of work includes raising, constructing, and installing a 15-foot waste cage extension on towers 979N & 981. Our crew will also install foundation modifications for towers 979N, 981 N & 983N, as well as install and re-plumb insulators on adjacent structures using new armor rods if necessary.

Marinship was contracted by Caltrans to install hydrodynamic separators and solid removal devices in Contra Costa, Santa Clara, and San Mateo counties along highways 4, 280, and 101. Emergency contract 04-0X1204 is part of Caltrans Statewide Trash Implementation Plan that aims to address the impacts trash has on the beneficial use of surface waters by reducing the amount of trash that is transported to surface water through storm drains. Marinship’s scope of work includes excavating, exposing existing storm drain infrastructure, installing 3 HDS units and one gross solids removal device, pouring three decanting pads, and excavating three settling basins. Marinship is also performing ground improving work at an approximately 20,000 sq foot area and implementing BMPs at adjacent infrastructure. #trashcapture #caltrans #excavation #stormdrain

Marinship is excited to share our progress on the SD-431 Main Wastewater Treatment Plant (MWWTP) Dechlorination Facility Improvements Phase 3 project. Our company was contracted by EBMUD to remove, replace, and dispose of three 15,000 gallon chemical storage tanks at their Main Wastewater Treatment Plant while keeping 3 tanks in service at all times. The photos and video show Marinship removing the first tank and relocating it to a temporary location where it can be utilized until the new tank is installed and functioning. #EBMUD #wastewatertreatment #excavator

Marinship crews will construct two Bioswales in the BART parking lot along San Leandro Blvd in order to improve the existing storm drain system infrastructure.
