MRAA Speaks at Marine Trades Association of Maryland Legislative Meeting On Monday, March 3rd, MRAA Government Relations members Chad Tokowicz and Michael S. participated in the Marine Trades Association of Maryland (MTAM) Legislative Meeting, delivering timely updates on federal policy and environmental initiatives impacting the boating industry. Highlights included a federal legislative update and details on Minnesota’s newly enacted Boat Wrap Recycling Program. The meeting also featured remarks from Maryland Delegates Dylan Andrew Behler (D-30A), Kathy Szeliga (R-7A), and Ryan Nawrocki (R-7A), who shared insight on key legislative developments—including the State Boating Act—and current budget negotiations affecting the state’s recreational boating community.
