Honoring Marines by Educating their Children
关于我们
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is the Nation's oldest and largest provider of need-based scholarships to military children. The Scholarship Foundation provides funding for post-high school education to all qualified children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen in need. Scholarship recipients are children of honorably discharged, retired, and active-duty Marines, and particular attention is given to those whose parent has been wounded or killed in action. Since its inception in 1962, the Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than 50,000 scholarships, worth upwards of $185,000,000, to the children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen. In the current academic year, the Scholarship Foundation awarded $10,000,000 to 2,600 children of Marines and Navy Corpsmen.

Today we celebrated the 249th birthday of our beloved United States Marine Corps.?Each year this event allows us to continue SteerBridge’s commitment and support to Marines and their families. At our Tysons headquarters and on behalf of the entire company, our Founder, Rob Schroder presented a $25,000 donation to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, ensuring future generations of Marines’ children can pursue their education. We were honored to be joined by Simona Richard, a current scholarship recipient and student at Howard University. The impact of this assistance allows her to focus fully on her studies, and we can’t wait to see what her future holds. True to #Marine tradition, we celebrated with a USMC birthday cake.
