Located atop the Shelburne Sonesta Hotel, Vintage Green was designed to offer an immersive rooftop guest experience. This multi-dimensional rooftop venue blends nature and design, showcasing captivating skyline views alongside curated cocktails and bites—all inspired by the spirit of New York City. Marin Architects proudly served as the project architect, transforming a series of existing rooftop apartments into this sophisticated and iconic destination. Spanning approximately 4,100 square feet of interior space and 5,500 square feet of outdoor terrace, the venue offers a dynamic blend of indoor and alfresco experiences. The design features a thoughtfully curated restaurant seating area, bar, and kitchen—brought to life in collaboration with interior designers Dallago Associates, Inc. Our scope of work included comprehensive architectural services, ensuring the integration of design and functionality. The result is a welcoming rooftop retreat that invites guests to unwind, dine, and take in the skyline views.

As we continue to go through our residential portfolio, we're excited to showcase two projects in particular: 62 Wooster Street and 113 East 117th Street. Categorized by their iconic facades, both of these projects are a testament of ingenuity and craftsmanship. At 62 Wooster Street, history and modern design converged. Located in the heart of SoHo's Cast Iron Historic District, this 1873 landmark required a level of architecture ingenuity due to it's L shape and age. This cast iron marvel required structural reinforcements to support both its heavy timber construction and the seamless addition of a new penthouse. Partnering with COOKFOX Architects, we embraced the challenge of its L-shaped footprint, allowing for dual ground-floor retail spaces and multiple residential units per floor. In South Harlem, 113 West 117th Street transformed a once-vacant 25-foot-wide lot into a striking six-story residential building. Rooted in French architectural tradition, its elegant fa?ade, Juliet balconies, and iron railings frame interiors designed for modern living—wide-plank oak floors, oversized windows, and custom millwork define each of its ten residences. From preserving cast iron heritage to designing new spaces, these projects are a testament of our commitment to building with purpose. #MarinArchitects #DesignWithPurpose #HistoricMeetsModern #SoHoArchitecture #HarlemLiving #ArchitecturalInnovation #CastIronLandmark #ResidentialDesign
