Recently, @BrutIndia visited two of our factories that are at the forefront of sustainability and fighting climate change. Here’s how we’re making a difference. At Perundurai, Tamil Nadu, over 90% of the energy comes from renewable sources, including wind and solar power. This facility, home to Parachute Coconut Oil, has been carbon neutral since FY2020 and boasts a 3000 sq ft Miyawaki forest to offset emissions. Meanwhile, in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, 99% of thermal energy is powered by biofuel made from agro-waste, and the plant is now water neutral. Through initiatives like farm ponds and afforestation, Marico is conserving water while enriching local communities. With 95.3% recyclable packaging and continuous strides toward a circular economy, we are paving the way for a better tomorrow.
