The United States Marine Corps and US Navy supported UNITAS LXV, the 65th iteration of the world's longest-running multinational maritime exercise, hosted by Chile in 2024. Marine F/A-18C Hornets and KC-130J Hercules conducted missions such as aerial refueling and mock dogfights with Chilean F-16s, while the Navy’s P-8 Poseidon contributed to anti-submarine warfare and maritime operations. UNITAS fosters international military cooperation, with participation from multiple nations across air, land, and sea domains.
