It's time for "A Minute A Month" TIME FOR YOUR AED 1 MINUTE DRILL. But this time there is a twist (see below)..... Grab a Co-worker and find the NEAREST AED Point to it... Now go ahead and giggle at how silly that drill was. However...that drill WILL make a difference and make your workplace safer. Maybe that person didn't even know you had an AED! If you can't find it in under 1 minute, then maybe you just uncovered a bigger problem. These days almost 7 out of 10 workplaces dont have an AED PROGRAM. They ONLY have an AED. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE. Which one do you have? We can help you quickly figure that out. AED 1 Minute Challenge (#2) Do you think your gym/fitness club has an AED ready to go? "Oh I'm sure they do", you think in your head as you read this post. Think again. You could be "shocked". Don't wonder about it. Go find out. The next time you are working out, if you don't see a highly accessible/visible AED, ask (in a courteous fashion) the front desk person, trainer, or manager : "Where is the AED in this facility?" That is a fair, and non-intrusive question. The most important piece of equipment in a gym is an AED. It is not a treadmill, or a rowing machine or a hack squat machine. It is an AED.
