Hi Everyone, ? The Marchesa Notte/Rosa tech team is currently seeking an Assistant Technical Designer to join our dynamic team. Below is the job description.? ? **Responsibilities:** - Compose each stage (Proto/SMS/PPS/TOP) of garment specifications into Tech-pack. - Evaluate garment fit at each stage according to brand aesthetic and target customer body standards. - Participate in fittings for each sample stage to revise/approve garment fit and specs. - Communicate with agents/vendors and factories overseas regarding tech pack contents, sample corrections, pre-production patterns, and problem-solving. - Develop initial sample specifications from original samples and/or design sketches. - Establish a close partnership with Design to facilitate the interpretation of design concepts. - Finalize pre-production sample specifications for bulk cutting grading pattern specification. - Track and follow up on the entire collection status from development to production end, ensuring timelines are met and addressing any delays or issues promptly. ? **Requirements:** - Passion for working in the high-end dress industry. - Proficiency in patternmaking, garment construction, fabric, and technical knowledge for soft woven dress categories. - Experience with Excel, Adobe software (specifically Illustrator), and computer patternmaking (experience is a plus). - Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. ? **Preferred Qualifications:** - Previous experience in a similar role within the fashion industry. - Knowledge of additional languages for effective communication with overseas partners. - Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving processes and technologies.
