As part of this year’s Discover Architecture program through the AIA New York | Center for Architecture, we had the pleasure of hosting Esther, a local high school student, in our office over the past few days. It was inspiring to witness her curiosity and passion for architecture, and we look forward to seeing where her journey in the field takes her! #2025 #DiscoverArchitecture #MFA #Design #Architecture #ArchitectureLovers #Architect

As Black History Month comes to a close, we celebrate the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, New York Public Library—a cornerstone of the Harlem community that has preserved and shared the history, stories, and culture of the African Diaspora for a century. Through its unparalleled collections, programs, and resources, the Schomburg has provided its local community, New York City, and the world with access to cultural artifacts that document and honor Black life. For 100 years, the Schomburg has been a source of knowledge, inspiration, and empowerment for generations. We recognize their extraordinary legacy and look forward to the many ways they will continue to shape the future. MFA was recently at Brown University for Building on Distinction, an event exploring exciting developments on campus. We were thrilled to share our recent work, with Karen presenting our renovation and addition for Churchill House, home to Brown University’s Department of Africana Studies and Rites and Reason Theatre. Throughout the day, Jason and Tanya welcomed the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP) community for building tours, sharing the project’s unique design and impact. A rewarding day exploring how this project, along with those presented, advances Brown University’s mission, aligns the campus with strategic initiatives and strengthens connections with the local Providence community. #Architecture #HigherEd #BrownUniversity #BuildingOnDistinction #Renovation #SCUP2024 #MFAProjects #ArchitecturalTour
