关于我们
Mannington Mills was founded in Salem, New Jersey in 1915, by John Boston Campbell who came from Scotland and found happiness in the business of making flooring with his two sons, Neil and Kenneth. Still privately held and owned by the Campbell family, Mannington is now one of the world’s leading makers of residential and commercial fine flooring with locations across the U.S. and in the U.K. (under the Amtico brand). And though we’ve evolved and grown throughout the years, our commitment to our craft has never changed. Mannington Mills' family of companies and brands includes Mannington Residential, Mannington Commercial, Amtico, Phenix Flooring, and Burke Flooring, and is home to a vibrant, creative group of thinkers, innovators and go-getters who design and manufacture gorgeous floors with superior performance and durability. Our long-standing company values include “Care” and “Do the Right Thing.” These values play into everything we do when it comes to how we interact with one another, our customers, our families and the communities in which we are located. Perhaps that’s why so many Mannington associates have turned their jobs into careers that have spanned decades. Where you choose to work matters. That’s why we’re dedicated to making Mannington…the company you keep.

As part of Mannington MIll’s ongoing support of communities in which we’re located, Nicholas Klemsz, Bruce Jones and John Fishburne recently participated in the Charles Baldwin Hope & Promise Golf Tournament that raised funds for the Madison-Morgan Boys & Girls Club in Madison, GA. We are proud to partner with this local chapter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a national nonprofit organization that, for over 156 years, has helped millions of young people reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens through after-school programs. #Flooring?#CommunitySupport #BoysandGirlsClub

By volunteering in their local communities, Mannington Mills associates demonstrate our “Care” Core Value by helping others in tangible ways. During Feeding America’s “Hunger Action” month, Robert Harrison, Cindy Graziano and Tammy Murphy (here with her son Keith, and Pastor Sonita Johnson, MBA)?spent time at the food pantry in St. John’s Pentecostal Outreach Church, Salem, NJ, that is supported by the Food Bank of South Jersey. ? ? Our company is proud to support Feeding America and its local and regional food bank partners year-round. We’re grateful to our associates who volunteer to help where needed. At Mannington Mills, we’re working together to care for our communities. #Flooring?#FeedingAmerica?#HungerActionMonth?#EndHunger #MakeADifference?#Care?#DoTheRightThing?#CommunitySupport?#CompanyYouKeep

One way we put our company’s’ “Care” Core Value into practice is by taking time to learn about our colleagues.?We asked Jonathan Duck, CEO at Amtico (part of the Mannington Mills family), to share some things about himself. Here’s what he said… ?First job, and what you learned?? At the UK Atomic Energy Authority, I learned that many of the most astute people in any business work on the shop floor. And that the power of the atom holds us all in its hands, for good and bad. ?Most important life lessons you learned growing up? ? Do as you would be done by. And there are always two sides to any story. ?Favorite memory from your University of Cambridge days? Combining a challenging academic regime with punting to the pub to make friends and have fun. ?Talent you have others may not know about? ? I keep sheep at home. They require periodic midwifery, hoof trimming and castration, though not necessarily in that order. ?Story behind how you and your wife, Bethan, met? Aah -I remember it well. In late summer 1980, we met at the White Horse pub in Chorleywood and then a week later during a group trip to see Othello at the National Theatre.?It was a straight “coup de foudre” (love at first sight). ?What interested you in getting your private pilot’s license? What do you like most about flying? Man has spent tens of thousands of years looking up at the sky, wondering how to slip the surly bonds of earth.?Only now can any of us fulfill this dream. For 25 years, I’ve flown Cessna’s and PA28’s rented from a local flying club.?No two flights are ever the same and you are forever learning.?A good landing is one you can walk away from. A great landing is one where you can reuse the plane. ?What is a “Yachtmaster” with the Royal Yachting Association, and why did you want to be one? I’ve raced sailing dinghies since I was a child.?A Yachtmaster’s ticket is the step up to larger sea-going boats and lets you charter anywhere in the world.?It’s made for some memorable family holidays, especially when our three children were much younger.?My great-great-grandfather was also a sailing ship’s captain… and from America. ?Weekends find you…? Staying busy with family, house repair, and our Cardigan corgis, Bandit, Barney and Mabel. ?Secret to Amtico’s success and longevity as it celebrates its 60th anniversary? Staying agile, given not only the rise of Far East suppliers but also the competition from nearly every flooring company now selling LVT. Both factors have completely changed the rules of the game. But if you evolve quickly enough, you'll stay ahead.?That’s what Amtico does so well. ?If asked to describe Amtico associates in 5 words, what would you say? Inventive, independent, collaborative, commercial, personable. ?”Truth” you live by at work and home? ? When Steve Jobs addressed my MBA class at Harvard Business School. he said, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” #Flooring?#Amtico #GreatAssociates?#CompanyYouKeep?

“Today we celebrate National Manufacturing Day. Thank you to all of our associates, at all of our sites throughout the U.S., who are part of our manufacturing operations.?Our commitment to U.S. manufacturing is an important part of who we are and a big part of the value we bring to our customers. We would not be Mannington Mills, not be heading to our 110th year, without the dedication of our manufacturing teams. You make us who we are.”—Zachary Zehner, Chairman of the Board? #Flooring #NationalManufacturingDay #GreatAssociates
