Momentum is building in Mankato! Today's (freezing cold) meeting with the Mankato community was another exciting step forward in creating a roadmap for the city's electrification journey. From exploring EV infrastructure to discussing strategies for broader adoption and impacts on the workforce, today's conversation laid the groundwork for a cleaner, more connected future. A huge thank you to Snell Motors for hosting and to our incredible presenters: - Brenda Flannery, Minnesota State University, Mankato - Melissa Bradley, Snell Motors - Scott Kaminski, Mankato Area Public Schools - President Edward S. Inch, Minnesota State University, Mankato - Joel Hanif, REGION 9 DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION We’re also grateful for the partnership of Ashley Eimer, CFRE and the Mankato Area Foundation and for the support of Jon Olseth of the Olseth Family Foundation, a longtime advocate for transportation electrification. Together, we’re driving change and powering up Mankato’s electric future! Stay tuned for next steps.?

As we head into summer, we want to acknowledge the dedicated organizations that ensure services for our community continue, especially for our youth who typically rely on programs through school. The break often creates expanded needs for food security, literacy education, and youth enrichment. Through one of MAF’s funds, MRCI was able to purchase cameras for their clients. “Through the lens of a camera, clients can show us what they see, what they look at, and why it’s important to them. And that is so important for all of us to see.” Learn how a small contribution is making a big impact: https://ow.ly/SUef50R1wbB
