The Manitowoc County Home Builders Association (MCHBA) is a professional, not-for-profit organization of builders and related businesses promoting attainable, safe and quality housing. We serve our members and our communities through education, governmental affairs and public service. Our members recognize the importance of belonging to an organization that supports and promotes the industry from which they derive their livelihood. We best serve the community, consumers and members by: ? Increasing communication between builders and associate members. ? Maintaining high ideals and building standards by continued education to our members ? Providing guidance to our local and state governmental officials regarding our stand on building-related issues. ? Promoting a spirit of professionalism and providing the public with quality craftsmen in all phases of the construction industry ? Supporting the local schools and organizations in encouraging careers in the construction industry The Association sponsors two major events for the public to take advantage of. The Home Show is where all your building questions can be answered, as we gather builders and related businesses under one roof. The other major event is the Parade of Homes. This event hosts open houses at beautiful quality built homes throughout Manitowoc County. Our members are able to showcase their craftsmanship and the public is able to view quality construction.
