MIE is pleased to announce the upcoming webinar Advancing Excellence and Equity through Feedback Data presented by Listen4Good, October 10, 2 - 3:00 PM ET. Legal aid providers need great data to do great work. For example, data that tells you whether your clients feel up-to-date on their cases. Data that tells you what your volunteers are experiencing. Data that tells you what’s working well with virtual and in-person meeting operations, and what’s working not so well. In this interactive workshop, we will share how legal aid organizations across the country have used client feedback for fundraising, strategic decision-making, and advancing equity goals. We will share best practices and lessons learned, including survey design, data collection techniques, confidentiality, reporting, visualization, and change management. Melanie holds a Master of Arts degree in Special Education, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. MIE invites you to register for MIE New Executive Director Training, Nov. 12 - 13, immediately preceding the 2024 NLADA Annual Conference, Atlanta, GA. The MIE New Executive Director Training offers new legal aid program leadership support and guidance in addressing today’s management challenges. With an agenda that touches topics such as the role of the director, leadership, communications, trust, culture change, race equity work, and financial management; participants have the opportunity to engage with peers, hear from experienced leaders, and think intentionally about the many diverse demands on a director’s time and attention. The training also provides space to workshop specific issues pressing for event attendees, learning from colleagues facing similar challenges. Attendees will leave the training with a new array of skills and perspectives, as well as a strong network of new executive directors who will continue to offer support in the future.
