Europe, Michaela MACHARIK and I finally have the chance to spend a full weekend in our apartment in Stryi. ?? It’s a rare and cherished moment of rest! ??♂???♀? ?? What am I doing with this time? I’ve decided to dive into some fascinating reading! With a stack of intriguing books waiting to be explored, this was the perfect opportunity to make progress: ?? Rebuild Ukraine: A publication by the AHK Ukraine - German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce – an absolute must-read for any ???? German-speaking potential investor seeking to understand the basics of Ukraine's investment landscape. ??? ?? ?Management in Times of War? by Kostiantyn Koshelenko: This book has already sparked a lot of thoughts ??. A conversation with one of my good Ukrainian business friends inspired me to pick it up, as he shared: "If I had read this before the war, I would have done many things differently." One particularly inspiring takeaway for me was so far: "Real leadership begins when resources end." ??? ?? In addition to reading, I also dedicated time to crafting the table of contents for a White Paper aimed at potential investors and foreign manufacturing companies. ?? The goal? Yes, there’s hardly any time now to write a sequel to ?Management in Times of War?. But over this time, I’ve made so many field notes on leadership for the new book. Practical, not theoretical notes from tough times in Ukraine, which forge strong people. From various levels of organizations across different sectors. I’ll get to systematizing them. Pressure makes diamonds. Only light refinement will be needed.
