Sharing Knowledge, Inspiring Change: A Collaborative Session Between Albania and Kosovo In a recent session, I, together with Arvina Lleshi, had the opportunity to lead a workshop with the youth of Kosovo, all part of the MaNaBu Movement. This session wasn’t just another training—it was a powerful example of how knowledge-sharing can drive positive change. We shared the valuable insights and tools we had acquired during our training in Holloko, thanks to Anthropolis Association and ACT for SOCIETY Center. The focus? Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)—a set of methods aimed at resolving conflicts without the need for formal legal processes. These are the skills that young leaders need today to foster peace, understanding, and collaboration. Additionally, we introduced a unique tool— #THOR (The Heart of Reflection)—which was specifically designed by #YoungPeopleinFocus. It’s all about reflection, encouraging young people to get in touch with their feelings and reflect on different situations in their lives.. This session was more than just education. It was about fostering collaboration between young people from Albania and Kosovo, creating a space where innovative ideas and solutions can flourish. What started as a simple project-sharing event quickly gained unexpected attention on social media, reaching from 100 to 21,000 followers on Instagram in just three days. Meet Adi (Atharva Kumar), a Young Ambassador of the MaNaBu Movement. In a recent video, Adi and his peers discussed a coding project they created using React. The public reaction to the video that went viral was diverse, with some calling it wild, others deeming it a threat to their jobs, and some suggesting they should watch cartoons. The stark contrast between negative perceptions and the positivity of the kids' experience is genuinely thought-provoking. Adi and his peers have fascinating homeschooling and self-directed learning journeys. Adi has been an active Young Ambassador of the #MaNaBuMovement who has contributed to many of our projects and programs. It's surprising to see the media's shock at young people learning to code. And while the media can't believe someone so young can code, kids are already on to their new project. ?? The new generations are born ????-???????????????? who love to ??????????????????????. It's imperative to support and nurture the passions of young creators. Listening to their needs will undoubtedly lead to growth and innovation, and there are invaluable lessons that adults can learn from the younger generation.
