?? This month, our Hermanitas embodied the value of reciprocity by giving back to the community through meaningful service! Our 7th-8th graders volunteered at Feeding San Diego, helping pack food with over 10,000 pounds in total to support families in need and ensure no one in our community goes hungry. Meanwhile, our 9th-12th graders partnered with I Love A Clean San Diego, working together to clean up the beach and promote sustainability. Service is at the heart of what we do. By volunteering, our Hermanitas are not only making a direct impact but also learning the importance of leadership, compassion, and collective responsibility. A big thank you to Feeding San Diego and I Love A Clean San Diego for allowing us to be part of their incredible missions. In the past week, we had the pleasure of partnering with two exceptional organizations to share our passion for science and biotechnology and help educate and prepare a new generation for careers in related fields. First, we joined industry peers to facilitate interactive activities for underserved?students at MANA de San Diego STEAM Pi day celebration. On Tuesday, we hosted the?Young Women In Bio?career panel at our Carlsbad campus—a platform for accomplished professionals to share their career journeys, insights, and advice, inspiring and guiding young women. It was a privilege to partner with Scientella and?Aroga Biosciences to share our passion and knowledge with such energetic and engaged future scientists.?

I had the honor of representing WTS San Diego at the MANA de San Diego STEM Pi Day Event last week! It was a great experience teaching the young minds of our communities what being a transportation professional might be like.
