Mamas Unidas LR is a 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to helping the Hispanic community learn about higher education in the United States. We are guided by a mission to help parents by providing information about available resources and helping them navigate the steps their children need to take so they can achieve their educational dreams and secure a better future. Our vision is a future where young individuals are empowered to freely pursue higher education, unencumbered by cultural, economic, or socioeconomic barriers.

We are excited to partner with students from the Clinton School of Public Service as they help us with an exciting project that will help Hispanic students and families overcome barriers to higher education.
Ten teams of first-year students from the Clinton School of Public Service are set to embark on Arkansas-focused public service projects for the 2024-25 academic year. These projects will be conducted in partnership with a?diverse array of organizations, including nonprofits, foundations, private businesses, and community initiatives across the state. This year's partners include Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance, Clinton Foundation, Delta Dental Smiles, Delta Dirt Distillery, Goodwill Industries of Arkansas, Mamas Unidas LR, Rogue Water Lab, Shepherd's Hope, Visionairi, and Wolfe Street Foundation.
We are very grateful to THV11 and the Tegna Foundation for their support. This generous grant will help us provide a robust ACT Workshop for the students we serve in Central Arakansas!

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS & FAMILIES APRIL 20th, 2024, 8:30am - 12pm Registration to volunteer for our "Impactful Hands, Hopeful Hearts" day of service event in Central Arkansas is open. We have 20 sites to choose from, all with different activities. Choose yours before they run out! Age requirements vary, and we want to encourage it to be a family and community activity. ? Registration link is in the comments. The day of service is on April 20th, and hours vary from 8:30 AM to 12 PM (more details in the registration link). After volunteering, we will gather at Plaza Frida to celebrate with ?? food, ?? prizes, and ?? gifts. We look forward to seeing you out there!
