April is Child Abuse Prevention Month in the U.S., and A Bolder Way Forward wants to help get messages into all communities, congregations, and homes throughout Utah. One of our spokes is A Bolder Way Forward Child Sexual Abuse Spoke, and in support of their work, the Utah Women & Leadership Project is hosting a free 1-hour webinar we hope you'll join. Approximately 1 in 7 children in Utah are sexually abused each year in Utah, yet many Utahns don’t recognize it as problem in their community. How can we address this issue and work toward a safer future for our kids? I will be interviewing four dedicated leaders in the space of child sexual abuse prevention on April 2 for a discussion on preventing child sexual abuse, its prevalence and impact, and solutions that can make a difference. Dr. Susan R. Madsen will interview leaders of amazing organizations that are doing critical work in this area: Jake Neeley (Malouf Foundation), Chris Yadon, MPA (Saprea). Laurieann Thorpe (Prevent Child Abuse Utah) and Sage Hancock, MBA (GenerationAll). Don’t miss this important conversation—register now for the free webinar on April 2.
