The Malley’s team always thinks pink ?? But it takes on greater meaning during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We were proud to participate in the annual American Cancer Society Making Strides walk in downtown Cleveland on Sunday, Oct. 6. Leading up to the walk, Malley’s stores sold pink ribbons for $1 each to raise money to donate. Avon was our top store, raising over $900! Funds raised at our stores, along with donations from our team members, their friends and family totaled $6,000.

We're excited to share a new collaboration at our Parlors. We’re now brewing All Cleveland Coffee! It’s high-quality, ethically sourced and an official partner of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. Not to mention it tastes amazing. We celebrated the announcement (and National Coffee Day!) with free samples at our Parlors on Sunday. Be sure to try a cup next time you stop in.

Since 2023, more than 100 Malley’s team members have volunteered more than 200 hours at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, but today’s visit was extra special. We also presented the Food Bank with a check for $550 in funds raised from our August Sundae of the Month. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers who tried a Malley Monster and made this donation possible!

Meet our August Sundae of the Month: The Malley Monster! It's a heaping scoop of fruity cereal swirl ice cream in a waffle cone, with rainbow ears and a jellybean nose. We even added whipped cream and sprinkles. But what's really special about the Malley Monster is that a portion of the proceeds benefit the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. A sweet treat that supports a great cause? Yes please!

We had a great morning visiting FOX 8 Cleveland to talk about National Hot Fudge Sundae Day! Malley's Famous Fudge Sauce is made in our kitchen at our Brook Park headquarters, using a recipe passed down for generations. And it's absolutely delicious. If you haven't tried it before (or if you have and love it as much as we do) tomorrow is the perfect excuse to get some! On National Hot Fudge Sundae Day, our parlor locations are serving up regular size hot fudge sundaes for just $2.50. Plus, when you purchase a 19 oz. jar of Famous Fudge Sauce at any Malley's location, we'll throw in a free bag of pretzels.

Last week, Mike Malley welcomed members of our retail team to home office for another edition of lunch with the CEO! Attendees had great conversation about product packaging, operations at the stores and more. We are so thankful for the opportunity to hear team members’ ideas and perspective first hand, and the feedback they provided was incredibly valuable.

Malley’s had another great morning volunteering at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank! We spent the visit in their community Kitchen, scooping potato salad, cutting veggies, organizing trays of spinach, and completing other food preparation. The Food Bank will then distribute these dishes to senior citizens. We are always happy to give back to the Northeast Ohio community, and grateful for a new opportunity to work together as Malley’s teammates!
