    This story is WILD: Trump renamed the Gulf of Mexico and it created a 554% spike in revenue for a charter business on our marketplace. ?? Seriously. This is a great reminder of how doing the prep work and creating systems can help you scale when your moment arrives. HOW THEY MADE IT HAPPEN ?? ~Two years ago, Adam Peterson and BJ Crookshank took a huge risk. They launched a new charter in Venice, Louisiana—one of the world's toughest and most competitive fishing markets. Veteran captains thought they were crazy. Venice is known as the Tuna Capital of the WORLD. And it’s ruled by decades-old charters with deeply loyal clients. They went for it anyway and decided to call their new charter something that aligned their pride in the gulf with their passion: Gulf of America Outfitters. It felt right. And with a differentiated, all-inclusive experience on the best boats in Venice, they knew they had something special. They chose to partner with our company, Mallard Bay, for marketing and awareness. They also used our software to handle their payments, client communication, and calendar management. Our plan was working, they were doing healthy five figures of revenue per month. It was far smoother sailing than anyone could have predicted.
