These birds are like the “workplace survivalists” of the Galápagos Islands! ?? During a drought in the 1970s, they quickly learned that having a strong beak was key to cracking tough seeds. ?? Those with smaller beaks? Well, let’s just say they weren’t invited to the “seed buffet.” ?? Imagine if those finches had stuck to their old ways—kind of like that colleague who refuses to adapt to new tech. ? Spoiler alert: redundancy doesn’t come with a severance package! So, let’s take a page from these birds and embrace learning and change. I recently moved into a brand new apartment complex this month. It started out being only two occupied apartments, to now four being occupied. But do you know what the crazy thing is? There was only one clothesline built up. Talk about priorities not straight. I’ve had neighbours Whatsapping?? to ask to take up clothes off the line so they can get their share of ‘time on the line.’ Fortunately, two more lines were built up this week on the roof. (I’m guessing the complaints reached the right person in time). This is like a training course that lacks follow-up at the end to provide that extra support and clarification. It might seem like common sense to include, but common sense isn’t so common these days.
