Congratulations to Mak’s golden and beloved couple, Nate and Alli Gonring, who have recently qualified for the United States Golf Association (USGA) Men’s & Women’s Mid-Ams! Nate Gonring writes, “It was a truly special round – still doesn’t quite feel real. Excited to represent Maketewah at Kinloch, two weeks after Alli does the same at Brae Burn! This will be her 6th US Women’s Mid-Am appearance, and my 1st US Mid-Am appearance. Monday’s US Open qualifier at Mak was the busiest day in the qualifying calendar for locals. We are thrilled to have returned as host for the 46th time since 1976! Mak had 10 members and employees play in the event. Wes Homan moved on after shooting 4 under 66 and Will Grimmer moved on as well, after shooting a 2 under 68. Jake Fox missed the playoff by one after shooting 71.
