Welcome Maureen Hamilton who has joined the San Francisco Studio as a Senior Designer.

Our Environmental Graphics Design Team is growing. Recently Xavier Pandojino @Xavier P. joined us as a Junior Graphic Designer in San Francisco. Xavier is at home in the world of brand signage and wayfinding; an important part of all of our designs. As an outdoor enthusiast and avid traveler, he fits right in with the Blitzers - Welcome Xavier!

Last Thursday, Blitz was honored to return to one of our favorite projects at Okta for a thought-provoking panel on the question: "Whose responsibility is Sustainability?" This impactful discussion, led by IIDA Northern California and CoreNet Global, Northern California Chapter brought together all stakeholders of the Okta 13th floor project. Thanks to this team's efforts, the project achieved both LEED and WELL Platinum certification. Panelists included our very own Co-Founder and Partner Melissa Hanley, AIA IIDA ASID, NOVO Construction, Inc.'s Mike di Monaco, Novo Sustainability's Aliza Skolnik, Okta's Sophia Beavis, One Workplace's Angela Thomas, and Kilroy Realty Corporation's Eileen Kong. The Blitz SF Studio team was very happy to participate in this year's two* Chairity event, benefitting Project Color Corps, Hamilton Families , Girls Garage , Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. We're incredibly proud that our design earned the "Best Upcycling" award, raised $400, and showcased the true spirit of teamwork. Transforming an office chair into this sleek bar cart was a real team effort, and we couldn’t be happier with the result!

We are welcoming Lauren Swart to the San Francisco Studio Team and are delighted that she has chosen to join us. Beyond her wonderful personality, driven by her curiosity for all things Art and design, Lauren brings strong hospitality design experience to the team that we have already seen in action every day on the job.

It's always a pleasure to visit past projects and see them looking so fabulous.?We were delighted to sponsor and attend the incredible evening at?CoreNet Global - Southern California Chapter?fireside Chat with?Riz Walker?and?Carol J. Hamilton.?These two are such a lovely example of an amazing Designer / Client relationship.?Even though Riz was only at Blitz for the very early phase of the L'Oreal project her instantaneous love affair with Carol has persisted and she even went on to decorate Carol's West Coast apartment.?We were thrilled when she was able to come back at the end of this project and provide the final layer of tchotchke décor.?Great projects are always made by great relationships.?In that spirit we would be remiss to not mention our dear friends??two* ,?MadeByPair, and WOODTECH INC who furnished this project for us.

As we reflect on the past 15 years at Blitz, one word comes to mind: gratitude. We are profoundly grateful for the incredible people who have been part of this journey. Over the years, we've been fortunate to have some truly exceptional talents join our firm—many of whom are still with us after 8, 9, or even 10 years. It is deeply humbling that these wonderful individuals have chosen to spend part of their careers at Blitz. We are thankful for those who helped build the firm into what it is today and for those who continue to shape its future alongside us. When thinking about how best to represent the past 15 years, we begin with our people, because without our amazing crew, there would be no projects, and there would be no Blitz. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to our inspiring Clients. Thank you for trusting us with your dreams, your business, and your investments. We've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most brilliant minds of this era of innovation and invention. It has been humbling to learn from you, be inspired by you, and create for you. Thank you. While we may not be shutting down an alley and partying until the early hours of the morning to celebrate as we did for our 10th Blitziversary, we instead take this quiet moment to reflect on the past decade and a half and express our gratitude to those who made the dining room dream we had all those years ago come true.
