First international client signed up ?? Make Automations is now working with a social media brand agency to ensure their agency data is up to date without the need for manual checking or review. This client has almost 10K social media accounts signed up to their agency, and they rely on the account holders to fill out a form correctly with their account information and stats, but the big problem they faced is that they have no method to periodically check and update each account to keep all the stats accurate. But very soon they will have an automation in place that will get all the data for each account and also get additional data like average views, like and comments within a defined time period. They will also have an automation that will search social platforms to find accounts that would be suitable for their agency and automatically add them to their database. This agency only has a small team so doing this manually would be impossible, but with the power of automations they can now get access to the data they automatically and take their agency to new heights. #automations #businessprocess #processautomation

Last week one of our internal Make scenarios failed and it took a while to spot the email notifying us of the failure, so we thought there has to be a better way to interact with Make whilst not being on a PC or laptop. So we have decided to create a companion app that allows you to carry out actions using your mobile and also getting those all important notifications when things don't go to plan. At the moment we have the following features: ?? View usage data for all organisations on your account. ?? View all active scenarios within an organisation or team. ?? View all scenarios in the correct folder structure within an organisation or team. ?? Activate or deactivate scenarios. ?? Change your scenario schedule for all scenarios that have a time based trigger. ?? Run a scenario. ?? View logs for any scenario with data from the last 30 days. ?? See all the connections within an organisation. ?? Verify connections. ?? Rename and delete scenarios. ?? Get real-time notifications with push notifications. OpenAI release their first AI agent ?? This brand new agent is called Operator. But what can it do? At the moment this agent can only be accessed via a ChatGPT style interface, and it will go off and do pretty much any task you ask it to online. So it can book events tickets or get food delivered and do a hell of a lot more. What's really cool is that you can see the agent working in real-time on the webpages and can see all the button clicks it makes. Another great feature that they have added in is when the agent gets to the point of needing you to login or authorise a step in the process you can seamlessly enter the browser session, do what is needed and then hand back control to the agent. At the moment you can only access Operator if you have the $200pm pro account and are in the US. It will be rolled out to other regions soon. But one thing we're looking forward to see is how we can interact with this agent via the API, which will be released in the next few weeks. What would you use Operator for? #openai #ai #aiagents

DeepSeek R1 model has been released and is fully available via their API. But what does it do? The "R" stands for reasoning and this model has a similar reasoning functionality to OpenAI o1. Looking at the bench marks it sits a little lower than o1 on some benchmarks and a little higher on others. It also beats Claude 3.5 Sonnet in most benchmarks. We have done some testing and and the reasoning it is using just for a simple task is pretty impressive. We asked if it was there when testing the API and it fully analysed the question and offered up 5 possible responses with reasoning and then picked the best option. We have also tested this model in n8n AI Agents and the results are night and day in comparison to GPT-4o. But what is truly staggering is the price compared to OpenAI o1 DeepSeek R1 Pricing ?? Input tokens per 1M - $0.14 Output tokens per 1M - $2.19 OpenAI o1 Pricing ?? One of our amazing clients is Jack Roberts, if you have ever looked up AI automations on YouTube then you may have come across Jack, he creates amazing content on how to build AI automations using Make, which is an incredibly powerful no code automation builder. Jack also runs the most popular tech community on Skool, which exploded in popularity back in May when his community finished in the top 10 of the Skool games. But how does Make Automations help Jack? Jack's Skool community is packed with thousands of posts covering all sorts of AI topics, but finding the resources can be a bit tricky, so Make Automations was drafted in to provide a solution. The solution we opted for was an AI assistant that is built into the the Skool DM feature, so members can ask anything and get directed to the resource that best answers the members question... Having a bland AI bot isn't that engaging, so as the community has some Terminator vibes we gave the bot the persona of John Connor from the Terminator film franchise, and the responses are now amazing. The best thing about this solution is that it is built using no code in the Make platform, this includes the scraping of posts and text content, scraping of YouTube and Loom transcripts, inserting all scraped content in to a knowledgebase and all of the bot functions are automated in Make. At Make Automations we help our clients with "built for you" AI automation solutions, but we're also all about sharing the knowledge so you can build amazing automations for yourself using Make. Our training course is still in early development, but we're really excited to share with you one of the projects that we will teach you how to build. This scenario will take a text prompt and/or a website URL and create social media posts for you in a mater of seconds, but that's not all... It also uses our custom module (which we will share with students) for fal.ai to generate images for your post using the latest Flux models. The course we're producing will be completely beginner friendly, so if this scenario looks scary, don't worry we will build it together step by step and if you're new to Make we will take you through all the basics first.
