If you're a parent, you'll be all too familiar with the back-to-school messaging we're surrounded with at this time of year. For children like Vedant, the option to go back to school is taken away. At just 9 years old, Vedant lives with cancer but dreams of becoming a scientist. He greatly misses his science classes, and therefore wished for a telescope so he can explore the universe through his window. Amazing achievement for Make-A-Wish India ??

"You gave my child a fairytale journey with a lot of fairy dust, and she truly believed that diabetes is not an obstacle in her life, and she can live with it." Lydia's mother said in gratitude to our volunteers at @makeawish.greece 6-year-old Lydia lives with type 1 diabetes and wished to have a bedroom makeover, fit for a fairy. Once Lydia's brand-new bedroom was complete, our volunteers dressed up as fairies and hid gifts all over her room waiting for her to find them. When Lydia woke up on her wish day, she said "Mom, today is going to be a wonderful day for me!" and she was right! Her joy throughout the day is thanks to our amazing donors and volunteers. Now Lydia will get to wake up every day with the magic of fairydust ??
