Our friend Jakob at Detailing Division was back this month to drop off more toy donations! He was able to do 13 car details for the month of February, which means 13 more toys for our wish kids. Thank you, Jakob! ???

Wendy has been a Child Life Specialist for 35 years and she believes that the excitement of a wish can help kids feel like a kid again, even with all of the challenges they face with their illness. Fun fact: Wendy has referred OVER 60 children to Make-A-Wish. Thank you for being such a strong advocate for wishes for children with critical illnesses, Wendy! ???

Did you know that March is Child Life Specialist Month? Some of our biggest champions are the Child Life Specialists we get to work with along a child's wish journey - thanks to them, our wish kids and their families have someone by their side through all of their treatments and around every curveball thrown their way. On this #WishWednesday, we want to highlight and thank a special team from Sanford Health - Stephanie, Fox, and Katy! Stephanie and Katy have the immense pleasure of being Child Life Specialists AND being Fox's best friends at the hospital. Katy says the best part of her job is "having an active role in helping a patient navigate big feelings and feel successful with the more difficult parts of being in the hospital." Thank you for all of your hard work, Stephanie, Fox, and Katy!

Angie brings a positive, supportive, “we can do anything” flair wherever she goes and we are so lucky to have her on our team. She ensures our office runs smoothly, rallies our network of 184 volunteers, and helps manage our medical outreach efforts. Thank you, Angie, for all that you do! ????

???Jimmy's wish has come true!??? Wish kid Jimmy was surprised with a brand-new gaming system over the weekend. He aspires to be a competitive gamer, so his new setup will hopefully help him launch an everlasting career! We'd like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Kingpinz for treating Jimmy and his family like royalty at his reveal, and to Gravity Gaming by ByteSpeed for finding us the perfect system and setup for Jimmy.
